The Metal detectors

The patented Loma IQ4 metal detectors are the first detectors that really offer the work with the variable frequencies and IP69K protection for the operation in the industrial environments.

Scope of operation

They can operate at the frequencies from 40 to 900 kHz, with the possibility to change the operating frequency in very short period of time. The changes in the type of product, that require the change of frequency, does not require any more the expensive and impractical retuning by the service engineers. The corresponding operating frequency is key to the best detection of stainless steel, that is used in the food, beverage and in the pharmaceutical industries.

Consistant performance

These detectors have a unique chassis design and the winding core, which is why they are immune to the vibration effects, the electrical noise and to the temperature differences, which are earlier often caused the poor performance of the detector.

Superior reliability

The most modern technology is used, to combine the stainless steel, the plastic and the resin into the unique whole, which prevents the penetration of water and dust and thus provides the desirable and stable working environment, for the rugged electronics and winding cores.

Clear, simple controls for using

The model IQ4 comes with the multilanguage graphic color touch screen, and has the intuitive menu with icons, each containing an option ’’HELP’’. The updated VFD IQ4 control panel with the membrane keypad is larger, with better contrast and it is easier for using. Both models are designed to allow to the operators, with the clear information and with the access permit, to be able to use a wide range of standard features, which improve the metal detection in a modern production environments.

Automatic selection of the frequency of the work and auto-learning of the product

Almost instant adaptation to new products and packages. It automatically learns the characteristics and settings for up to 100 different products.

Improved PVS for HACCP

The PVS automatically reminds the operator to test the performance in the already-set intervals, according to the HACCP requirements. The PVC system does not rely on the assumption, that the operator will verify the test results and, during to the testing are used only the specific test samples. This unique function means, that the test results can not be falsified and are automatically stored in the system. The LomaEnet can connect with each metal detector via Ethernet and each test result can be stored on a networked PC, in order to help the harmonization of operations with the HACCP.

The logs of the detected contamination

If the metals are detected in your product, the log of the detected contamination is stored in the list of all detected contamination and shows the quantity. This log is crucial in the identifying of the potential template contaminations, as well as in the monitoring and locating of its source. The logs and reports can be downloaded to the USB stick with the IQ4 model.
